The top three men's and women's finishers for the 2006 Bank of America ESB Run-Up.

Each year, over a hundred runners from around the world participate in this unique race up a total of 1,576 steps to the Observatory deck on the 86th floor. The 29th annual ESB Run-Up took place on Tuesday, February 7, 2006.

	On December 22, 1931, National Broadcasting Company (NBC) presented the first experimental transmission from its TV station atop the Empire State Building.

The Empire State Building is located at 350 Fifth Avenue, between 33rd and 34th Streets, in midtown Manhattan.
