Yes, the Empire State Building has several restaurants inside it. STATE Grill and Bar is the building’s signature full-service restaurant that serves local ingredients for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, cocktails, and desserts. Sushi Beauu runs a Japanese counter with a 10-seat omakase table, the Starbucks Reserve spans three floors, and there are fast-casual restaurants for quicker options.  Full-service restaurants take their own reservations, so book directly with them.

No, there is no rooftop restaurant at the Empire State Building. The Empire State Building’s restaurants are all at street level, while the 86th and 102nd Floors are built for the view, with open-air railings and floor-to-ceiling glass instead of tables. To get the view and a proper meal in one trip, head up first and come back down for an Empire State Building dinner.

The Empire State Building restaurants are all on the lower floors. You’ll find STATE Grill and Bar and the fast-casual spots at ground level, the Starbucks Reserve across three floors, and Sushi Beauu with its own entrance on West 33rd Street. The 86th and 102nd Floor Observation Decks above are for the view.

Yes, the most popular Empire State Building bar is STATE Grill and Bar on the ground floor. It serves cocktails alongside its breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. The Starbucks Reserve pours cocktails too, across three floors of coffee, food, curated shopping and hands-on workshops.
