KPOP DEMON HUNTERS
The Empire State Building lit up in gold to celebrate Netflix's KPOP DEMON HUNTERS and kick off the film's "Golden Weekend." The event featured a dynamic Music-to-Light Spectacular synchronized to the movie's hit song, "Golden." Earlier that day, stars Arden Cho, May Hong, and REI AMI visited the building for a special lighting ceremony, flipping the switch to illuminate the tower. They also toured the Observatory Experience, enjoying the immersive exhibits and breathtaking views from the 86th and 102nd floors. The film, blending K-pop culture with Korean mythology, has become Netflix's most-watched animated original, with its fictional supergroup Huntr/x making history on the Billboard charts.
- While known for her acting in Teen Wolf, Arden Cho is also a talented singer-songwriter. Her musical background adds authenticity to her role in KPOP DEMON HUNTERS, which blends K-pop culture with action-packed storytelling.
- REI AMI, a rising star in the music world, lends her voice and charisma to the film. Fans love her for her genre-blending music style, which combines pop, rap, and R&B—perfectly aligning with the film’s vibrant K-pop theme.
- The fictional K-pop group Huntr/x from the movie made history by becoming the first animated K-pop act to top the Billboard Hot 100 with their hit song "Golden."
