The Empire State Building hosted West Ham United F.C. players Alphonse Areola, Tomas Soucek, El-Hadji Malick Diouf, Maxwel Cornet, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Nayef Aguerd for a photo opportunity to celebrate the Premier League Summer Series 2025.
- West Ham United F.C. is most commonly nicknamed the Hammers, but fans also call them the Irons, the Academy, and the Cockney Boys.
- The Hammers were the winners of the inaugural Football League War Cup that first took place during WWII.
- In 2013, the club signed a 99-year lease for London Stadium.
