Chuck Scarborough Lights ESB to Celebrate 50 Years on NBC New York

The Empire State Building's world-famous tower lights shined in blue and white in partnership with NBC New York to celebrate Chuck Scarborough's 50th Anniversary on the air on March 25.

The veteran anchor visited the Empire State Building earlier in the day to flip the famous light switch. Chuck was joined by WNBC News Anchor Natalie Pasquarella and WNBC Weather Anchor Dave Price. As the longest-serving news anchor in the Tri-State market, Chuck has brought some of the world's most pivotal news right into New Yorkers' living rooms, which has earned him an astounding 36 Emmy Awards for his work in broadcast journalism throughout his distinguished career.

After the ceremony, Chuck toured the iconic Observatory Experience and posed for photos throughout the immersive museum and on the building's 86th and 102nd Floor Observatories.
