ESB Lights Up Blue to Celebrate "Smurfs"

On July 16, the Empire State Building’s world-famous tower lights will shine blue to celebrate the premiere of Paramount Animation’s “Smurfs,” in partnership with the Lollipop Theater Network.

"Smurfs" stars John Goodman, Natasha Lyonne, and Nick Offerman visited the Empire State Building earlier in the day to flip the switch in a lighting ceremony and take in New York City's best views from the 86th and 102nd Floor Observatories.

Back with a brand-new adventure, “Smurfs” follows Smurfette as she leads her friends on a daring mission to rescue Papa Smurf from the clutches of evil wizards.

To celebrate this exciting premiere, “Smurfs” has partnered with Lollipop Theater Network to make the joy of stories and characters available to children in need.
