America's favorite mom visits New York City.
On Sept. 18, the Empire State Building's world-famous tower lights shined in dynamic seafoam and white to celebrate a new statewide maternal health program in New York, in partnership with Baby2Baby.
Earlier that day, "Modern Family" actress Julie Bowen and co-CEOS of Baby 2 Baby, Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, flipped the switch in a lighting ceremony to honor the occasion. After the ceremony, the trio toured the building's immersive museum and took in New York City's best views from the 86th, 102nd, and 103rd Floors.
Baby2Baby has provided essentials to families in need for more than a decade. Now, the state of New York has invested nine million dollars to further the organization’s mission to provide maternal health kits to every baby born on Medicaid across the state, plus millions of diapers to low-income families.
