On Nov. 6, the Empire State Building shined its world-famous tower lights in blue and gold in partnership with Bulova to celebrate the release of "Jimmy," a biopic by Burns & Co. about the life of Hollywood legend Jimmy Stewart.

The Empire State Building hosted a special lighting ceremony with actors KJ Apa, Rob Riggle, and Max Casella, who flipped the famous light switch.

After the ceremony, the cast toured the Observation Deck – which was named the #1 Top Attraction in the United States in Tripadvisor's 2026 Travelers' Choice Awards: Best of the Best Things to Do – and posed for photos on the building’s 86th and 102nd Floor Observation Decks.

From his celebrated Hollywood career to his service as a decorated military veteran, Jimmy Stewart's life and legacy extended far beyond the silver screen.

His starring role in the beloved holiday classic “It's a Wonderful Life” remains one of his most enduring performances, and the film continues to resonate with audiences nearly 80 years after its release.
