On Dec. 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Empire State Building shined its world-famous tower lights in Spotify green to celebrate Spotify Wrapped 2025.
Earlier that day, the Empire State Building hosted a lighting ceremony with DJ, author, and record producer, Mark Ronson, and the voice of Spotify's AI DJ, Xavier "X" Jernigan, who flipped the famous light switch.
After the ceremony, Mark and DJ X toured the Observatory Experience – which was named the #1 Top Attraction in New York City for the fourth consecutive year in Tripadvisor’s 2025 Travelers’ Choice Awards: Best of the Best Things to Do – and posed for photos on the building’s 86th and 102nd Floor Observatories.
