On June 12, the Empire State Building shined its world-famous tower lights in the colors of the Brazilian flag to celebrate Brazil’s Match at MetLife Stadium, in partnership with TV Globo.
Earlier, the Empire State Building hosted a special lighting ceremony with Brazilian soccer legend, Ronaldinho, who flipped the famous light switch.
After the ceremony, he toured the Observation Deck Experience – which was named the #1 Top Attraction in the United States in Tripadvisor's 2026 Travelers' Choice Awards: Best of the Best Things to Do – and posed for photos on the building’s 86th Floor Observation Deck.
On June 13, Brazil will play Morocco in an anticipated match at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
