Alyson Stoner –American actor, singer, and dancer –will visit the Empire State Building to promote the release of their memoir, “Semi-Well-Adjusted Despite Literally Everything.” Stoner’s memoir details their resilience through hardships like child stardom, an unpredictable home life, and mental health challenges.
Stoner’s career started in 2001 when they became the co-host of a Disney Channel segment called “Mike’s Super Short Show.” Shortly after, Stoner appeared in Disney’s television shows “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” “That’s So Raven,” and “Drake & Josh,” as well as the comedy movie franchise “Cheaper by the Dozen” and “Cheaper by the Dozen 2.” In 2008, Stoner played Caitlyn Gellar in “Camp Rock” and again two years later in “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.” They have other notable performances in films, “Step Up,” “Step Up 3D,” and “Alice Upside Down.” Stoner has also performed as a backup dancer alongside notable stars like Missy Elliot, Will Smith, and Outkast.

The Empire State Building will welcome Old Dominion for a tour of the Observatory Experience to celebrate their new album, “Barbara,” set to release on Aug. 22. Old Dominion is a modern American country band that consists of Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung, and Brad Tursi.
In 2007, Old Dominion officially formed in Nashville and has since released five albums and three EPs. The band released their first EP in 2012 and their second two years later. Their debut studio album, “Meat and Candy,” features notable singles “Break Up with Him,” “Snapback,” and “Song for Another Time.” “Barbara” will be their sixth studio album and include 13 new songs.
