Monday, Oct. 6
Colombian singer Silvestre Dangond will flip the switch in a lighting ceremony and meet fans at a special event to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the Empire State Building. That night, the building will be lit in a rotation of colors of Hispanic countries’ flags to cap off the celebrations.
Dangond gained popularity in the early 2000s with his signature blend of traditional vallenato and contemporary sounds. His numerous hit albums – like “La 9a Batalla” and “Esto Es Vida”– have garnered several Grammy nominations and awards.
The Empire State Building will host a photo opportunity with singer/songwriter Jesse McCartney at the Observatory to celebrate his “Weightless Tour.”
McCartney began his career as a teen heartthrob in the boy band Dream Street before his venture as a solo artist, when he gained widespread popularity with singles “Beautiful Soul” and “Leavin’.” He recently embarked on the “Weightless Tour” that features songs from his early career to his recently released album of the same name.
Wednesday, Oct. 8
The cast of new Amazon Prime Video series “The Mighty Nein” – Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham – will visit the Empire State Building Observatory for a photo opportunity.
“The Mighty Nein,” which is set to premiere on Nov. 19, 2025, follows a group of adventurers as they navigate a world of intrigue, personal growth, and epic battles in the fictional land of Wildemount.
