Monday, Sept. 15

RobeGrill

The Empire State Building will welcome culinary content creator and entrepreneur RobeGrill for a lighting ceremony to honor Mexican Independence Day.

Born Roberto Morales, Robegrill rose to prominence with his Hermosillo-inspired cookout videos on YouTube in 2020. Since then, he has welcomed countless celebrities to cook at his grill, which include Olivia Rodrigo, Pedro Pascal, Will Smith, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Wednesday, Sept. 17

Miss America Cassie Donegan will take a victory lap with a photo opportunity at the Empire State Building Observatory.

Donegan represented the state of New York in the iconic pageant and was crowned the 98th Miss America on Sept. 7. Her advocacy program, “Promoting Arts Education in Our School Systems,” was born out of her passions for musical theater, where she directs youth theater, designs theater and STEAM curricula for K-12 students, and creates scholarship funds to improve access to arts for young people.

Thursday, Sept. 18

The Empire State Building will host a lighting ceremony to celebrate Baby2Baby’s expansion in NYC with special guest Julie Bowen, who will flip the famous switch.

Bowen is best known for her role as Claire Dunphy in the hit ABC sitcom “Modern Family,” which earned her two Primetime Emmy Awards. She has also appeared in several films such as “Happy Gilmore,” “Horrible Bosses,” and “Multiplicity.”
