This summer, the Empire State Building is getting wild – with the brand new, exclusive Rainforest Café that will appear on the 86th Floor of the “World’s Most Famous Building.”  

In honor of this special collaboration, the café will serve guests a limited-edition menu and include all of the same exciting features experienced in a typical Rainforest Café. This encompasses an ensemble of lush greenery and life-size animal exhibits 86 floors up in the sky.  

Guests who reserve a seat on opening day will receive ESB x Rainforest Café merch to commemorate this special partnership.

The restaurant, once opened, will be the highest Rainforest Café in the world.  

About the Rainforest Café

Known for its unique theme, Rainforest Café delivers a tropical dining adventure to guests. Those who dine in the café get to experience what it’s truly like to be right in the heart of the jungle. Enjoy your meal amongst tigers, elephants, crocodiles, and gorillas throughout, and watch out for the occasional indoor rainstorm!  

At ESB’s Rainforest Café, guests will dine in the open-air 86th Floor Observatory and enjoy 360-degree views of NYC.

The Empire Special

This limited-edition location will be available to guests throughout the summer of 2024, and will offer the standard menu items of the Rainforest Café as well as some NYC-themed specials to celebrate the new location. Guests will be able to order salads, pastas, sandwiches, seafood, which includes their most popular menu item – The Rasta Pasta.  

The menu, which will offer exclusives only available at ESB, will be released at the end of April and include a variety of options for those with food allergies and sensitivities.  

There will also be a special cocktail menu with themed drinks, including “The Concrete Jungle,” served in an Empire State Building souvenir glass.

Grand Opening Day

Guests can expect to see this one-of-a-kind dining experience open in June 2024. Those who reserve tickets at the link below to the Observatory will be provided an immersive experience that leads up to the café in the 86th Floor Observatory.  

The restaurant will be open seven days a week, with reservations from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.  

Please note, reservation capacity will be limited to 150 guests per hour, so please be sure to reserve in advance as walk-ins will not be available.
