The Happily Ever Empire proposal package includes a romantic, VIP experience on the Empire State Building’s iconic 86th Floor Observation Deck and a designated semi-private proposal area with stunning NYC skyline views. You will enjoy priority skip-the-line access and a dedicated ESB Ambassador to assist with your special moment.
The experience also includes access to the 102nd Floor Observation Deck, a souvenir photograph, and entry to the immersive exhibits, allowing you to explore the building’s history and significance as part of your visit.
The proposal takes place on the iconic 86th Floor Observation Deck, in a designated, semi-private corner with stunning open-air views of New York City reserved for your special moment.
Yes. Friends, family, or a photographer may join your proposal, but each additional guest must have their own valid ticket for entry. We recommend the Express Pass to the 86th Floor & 102nd Floor Observation Decks for those who wish to skip the exhibits and elevator lines, go directly to the proposal location on the 86th Floor, and continue with you to the 102nd Floor Observation Deck after the proposal.
The Happily Ever Empire proposal package is available year-round at select times throughout the day, subject to availability. Reservations are limited and must be booked in advance, so available time slots will appear when booking online.

The 102nd Floor is our premier indoor observation deck, located 1,250 feet above street level and reached via a stunning glass elevator ride. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a fully climate-controlled environment, it offers the highest and most expansive views in the building. This more intimate experience lets you take in New York City and beyond — up to 80 miles across six states on a clear day.
